Maybe not time schedule per se but when do feedings and diaper changes (how often) and play time happen? but good luck she’ll do great regardless!!!! babies are super adaptable the more she feels okay not being held all day the better she’ll feel the first few days so it’s not such a shock. and being used to falling asleep in her crib, ect. they eventually get used to it but it’s not a bad idea to get her used to the idea that the floor is safe and she can play with toys without an adult right next to her all the time. some babies start and have never been put down on the floor and immediately freak out every time they’re on the floor during the first few weeks. Most importantly just get her used to independent play/ playing on the floor. We do diaper changes every 2 hours (sooner if poopy) and if they’re napping we won’t wake them up unless they’re having a blowout, we just wait until they’re awake to change them. But for my school we do breakfast at 8 am- lunch at 11- snack at 2 pm so get her started on some solid foods and adjust her bottle schedule around what times she’ll probably be eating. Like many said we follow the baby’s natural schedule. I hope it’s that way for my future daycare. It’s nice reading these responses about caring for the infant based on their a schedule. If each parent gives their own baby’s schedule I assume 2 teachers wouldn’t be able to keep track of 8 baby’s individual needs and it’d be eventually lump sum into one general schedule. I’m curious what everyone’s daily routine looks like at 6 months age.Įdited: Maybe not time schedule per se but when do feedings and diaper changes (how often), and play time happen?Įdited 2: Do you actually play with baby (sing, read, talk, dance, etc) or do you just let them play by themselves?Įdited 3: I’ve talked to 1 daycare so far and they said there’s 8 babies and 2 teachers. Not sure which daycare she’ll end up going to which is why I’m asking here. I would like to prepare my baby for a daycare schedule when the time comes. What does your general schedule look like for infants (6 months of age). r/raisingkids: Insightful articles, reddiquette, reading before voting, and intelligent respectful discussion on the topic of parenting and raising children.
